MUMBAI :The essential toll of taxi and auto in Maharashtra's capital city Mumbai has been expanded by ₹3 and Rs2 separately. These new passages will happen from 1 October. Explorers in the Mumbai Metropolitan locale should pay a base charge of ₹28 and ₹23 for going in a taxi or in an auto.
The new charges will happen from 1 October, the Mumbai Metropolitan District Transport Authority (MMRTA) said in a delivery.
The base charge for a distance of 1.5 km for kaali-peeli taxis has been climbed to ₹28 from ₹25 and the equivalent to ₹23 from ₹21 for auto-carts. "Past this base banner down distance, travelers should pay ₹18.66 per km rather than ₹16.93 per km for taxis and ₹15.33 a km rather than 14.20 (per km) for auto-carts," the delivery said.
